Rest assured, the next set of new features and game enhancements in Reborn v1.1 will not disappoint; but before we get into the details, let’s take a look at some of the highlights from our recent Cyrum Sale Event.<h3>Cyrum Sale Highlights</h3>The Cyrum Sale was another successful NFT drop event, selling out within roughly 2.5 days. The total CBT from the Cyrum sale was 2.46M, equaling to 2.2% of the current CBT total circulating supply.As previously mentioned in our <a href="https://blog.cyball.com/cyrum-sale-event-date-and-details-everything-you-need-to-know-74558e2fd439">Cyrum Sale Event article</a>, all Cyrums at the start are generic (pre-reveal) items which are currently tradable on the marketplace, however not yet revealed or usable. The specific classes and effects of the Cyrums will reveal themselves towards the end of this month, followed by the in-game integration which will allow users to deposit their Cyrums into CyBall game to apply onto their CyBlocs. Note, Cyrums are temporary items which will expire 30 days from the moment they are deposited into the game.<h3>New Features (Reborn v1.1)</h3><ul><li>New game mode: Custom Rooms — players can now set up rooms to compete in friendly matches, or organise and participate in self-hosted competitions/tournaments.</li><li>Nicknames will be shown in custom rooms. Once injected, Cyrum will transform your chosen CyBloc into a mutant with special appearance and an added boost (trait and skills) during matches. Note that a Cyrum can be applied onto any CyBloc of any class.
Specifically, beyond the cosmetic look, a Cyrum also provides the following boosts:

An additional trait (from the existing set of 50 traits) — enabling CyBlocs to have up to four concurrent traits in a match. Note that duplicate traits will NOT stack.
A boost to one random skill at a detriment of another random skill. The greater the class, the stronger the boost (and detriment), see table below.

How to participate on the day of the sale?
1. Requirements

Crypto wallet (E.g. Metamask, Coin98 wallet, etc.)
Enough $CBT to cover the costs of Cyrums
Some BNB in your wallet to cover gas fee

2. Purchase your Cyrum

Navigate to https://app.cyball.com/#/marketplace/cyrums
Connect your wallet
Select [Cyrums] tab (indicated in the picture below)
(Optional) Filter by $CBT
Choose any Cyrum to purchase, make sure to check the price and currency before buying

Click the [Buy Now] button and then [Confirm] the transaction in your crypto wallet

3. View purchased Cyrum(s) in Profile

After purchasing on Marketplace, navigate to the Profile tab on CyBall Page (wallet must still be connected)
You should be able to see the purchased Cyrum(s) within your Profile -> Cyrums tab

4. Sell your Cyrum

Once you have secured a Cyrum, you can also list it back onto the marketplace
Click directly onto the Cyrum within your Profile -> Cyrums tab
Select [Sell Now]

List your Cyrum by entering the sell price in BNB or BUSD. Note that when listed, it will be at a FIXED price, not timed auction.
(First-time only) Click [Approve Token] button to approve the marketplace contract to sell your Cyrum.

Click [Sell] to confirm the listing onto the marketplace.
Once confirmed, your Cyrum (e.g. Cyrum #3017) should now be seen on the marketplace.

For the first few weeks, only the Windows version of CyBall Reborn will be available. The Android app is currently in its final phase of testing and will be made available as soon as we have cleaned up the remaining pesky bugs, followed by the MacOS and iOS versions. Since the end of Q2 of 2021, we have now witnessed the growth of a large ecosystem around blockchain games, and it has barely begun. CyBall has had many challenges that we’ve had to overcome, and has also had some major milestones and successes along the way. As we approach the one-year anniversary, let’s take a look at the CyBall journey so far.On November 4th, 2021 we held the World’s first Triple IGO Event across three different platforms: BinanceNFT, CyBall, and GuildFi. Looking Back…
It has been just under 1 year since CyBall was nothing more than an idea, a concept, a thought.
The idea of bringing a football themed play-to-earn game to the blockchain was born in June of 2021, which coincided with the time when the crypto gaming movement began gaining traction. CyBall — A year in the making…

<figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/0*ZJ1x8zZRwOtn7yaD" /></figure>Ever since the kick-off of CyBall Guild League Season 1 on April 11th, scholars have been battling it out, representing each guild to etch their name in CyBall history by climbing to the top of the leaderboard.Guild Leagues are where the top gaming guilds within CyBall compete against each other to collect $CYB and to be crowned champion of that season.CyBall will host a Guild League season every now and then, and each season will have its own stories of victory and of triumph.<h3>What is CyBall Guild League Season 1?</h3>Season 1 began on April 11th and is the first season of Guild League, which will run from Monday 11th of April until end of Monday 16th of May (inclusive).During this period, we have been introducing many more features such as CyLoans V2, flash mentoring, clubs and nicknames to allow for a controlled and steady population growth and onboarding of more players. For the duration of Season 1, guilds can use the <a href="https://app.cyball.com/#/leaderboard?tabLeaderboard=guilds">Guild Leaderboard</a> on our web-app to track their performance.Note that only guilds who have submitted their applications and been verified will appear on the Guild leaderboard. No further action is required from the Guild side to participate in this competition. For more information about Guild Verification, please read further below.Season 2 will start on Tuesday 17th of May. From Season 2 onwards, we intend to match the timeline of every new Guild League season with a new season of mentoring (i.e. new NFT’s arts). Ever since the kick-off of CyBall Guild League Season 1 on April 11th, scholars have been battling it out, representing each guild to etch their name in CyBall history by climbing to the top of the leaderboard.
Guild Leagues are where the top gaming guilds within CyBall compete against each other to collect $CYB and to be crowned champion of that season.
CyBall will host a Guild League season every now and then, and each season will have its own stories of victory and of triumph.
What is CyBall Guild League Season 1?
Season 1 began on April 11th and is the first season of Guild League, which will run from Monday 11th of April until end of Monday 16th of May (inclusive).
During this period, we have been introducing many more features such as CyLoans V2, flash mentoring, clubs and nicknames to allow for a controlled and steady population growth and onboarding of more players. For the duration of Season 1, guilds can use the Guild Leaderboard on our web-app to track their performance.
Note that only guilds who have submitted their applications and been verified will appear on the Guild leaderboard. No further action is required from the Guild side to participate in this competition. For more information about Guild Verification, please read further below.
Season 2 will start on Tuesday 17th of May. From Season 2 onwards, we intend to match the timeline of every new Guild League season with a new season of mentoring (i.e. new NFT’s arts). Note that some upcoming mentoring seasons may include new card’s borders/frames/backgrounds only, while other arts seasons may also include new CyBloc body parts.

The main difference is that V2 will support flash mentoring i.e. users can mentor using CyBlocs loaned out on CyLoansV2 without having to recall / withdraw them back into their wallets.<h4>To migrate from V1 to V2:</h4>1. Head to <a href="https://app.cyball.com/#/profile?tab=cyloans">CyLoans</a> tab on <a href="https://app.cyball.com">https://app.cyball.com</a>2. Put CyBlocs that you would like to migrate from V1 to V2 into “Recalling” status by delisting in “Listed”, or by canceling within “Leased” tab<figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/0*G48KOn619mhwRRjr" /><figcaption>Delist CyBlocs on V1 within “Listed” tab to put them into “Recalling”</figcaption></figure><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/0*QgXVnmRSRwAYKCi3" /><figcaption>Cancel CyBlocs on V1 within “Leased” tab to put them into “Recalling”</figcaption></figure>3. Head to “Recalling” tab, select all CyBlocs on V1 that you would like to migrate to V2 and click “Migrate”.Important:<ul><li>There are 2 transactions that need to be confirmed at this step.</li><li>You must have enough BNB for gas fees. Migrating multiple CyBlocs require a lot of BNB to cover gas.</li></ul>(3 if it is the first time you migrate as it will require a one-time only transaction to approve CyLoans V2 contract).<ul><li>The first transaction is a withdrawal from V1.</li><li>The second transaction is a deposit into V2.</li><li>If you only confirm the first transaction, the CyBlocs will be withdrawn from V1 (into your wallet) without getting deposited back into V2 i.e. the first transaction is just like a normal “Finalize Recall”.</li></ul><figure><img alt="" src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1024/0*ohrBvZFCUhn8CUkM" /></figure>That’s it! Repeat the process until you have migrated all of your CyBlocs from CyLoans V1 to CyLoans V2.Note:<ul><li>CyBlocs that were in “Leased” tab prior to the migration will be going back to “Leased” tab post-migration.</li><li>CyBlocs that were in “Listed” tab prior to the migration will be listed back to “Listed” tab post-migration.</li><li>If the steps above are followed correctly, CyBlocs’ levels should not reset and the borrowers should experience no gameplay interruption at all. It is however still recommended that users should not play during the migration process.</li><li>Please avoid using Wallet Connect during the CyLoans V1 -&gt; V2 migration process if possible, as Wallet Connect appears to only prompt one (instead of two) required transactions for the migration process.</li><li>If you must use Wallet Connect, ensure to: - 1. Click “Migrate”, confirm the first transaction - 2.1. If a second transaction gets prompted, also confirm it -&gt; finish - 2.2 If a second transaction does NOT get prompted, head to “Wallet” tab and list the CyBlocs you are trying to migrate up onto CyLoans V2 immediately. This re-listing step needs to be done within 5 minutes of the first transaction in order for them to be changed back to “Leased”. If the re-listing is done after 30 minutes have passed since the first transaction, then those CyBlocs will go onto “Listed” like normal.</li><li>TL;DR: If you only confirm 1 transaction out of the 2 required for migration, head to “wallet” tab and relist the relevant CyBlocs within 30 minutes.</li></ul><h3>Flash Mentoring</h3>That’s right, Flash Mentoring will also go live together with CyLoans V2!Once users have migrated CyBlocs over to V2, they can start mentoring CyBlocs that are being lent out immediately without having to recall/withdraw them back into their wallets.The mentoring process is exactly the same as it was, with the addition of a new tab called “Leased” where all CyBlocs within CyLoans that can be used to mentor are shown. This includes CyBlocs that are in “Listed”, “Recalling” and “Leased” on CyLoans V2 altogether.Note: Users will need to first approve their CyBlocs and CBT/BUSD spending for the new Flash Mentor before they can use flash mentoring. At 1.00 PM UTC today (Friday 22 April), the next big update to our suite of Web-Apps (https://app.cyball.com/) will go live!
Read on to learn more about what we have been working on and how to use them.
Nickname

Users can now choose and/or edit their nicknames within the ‘Profile’ section on https://app.cyball.com/. These nicknames will eventually be displayed on the leaderboard as well as integrated in-game within CyBall Reborn.
By default, the users’ wallet addresses will be used as nicknames until they are updated (similar to popular NFT Marketplace and DeFi platforms).
To update your nickname:
1. Head to Profile on https://app.cyball.com/ and connect your wallet
2. Click the Edit (✏️) icon within the top banner
Click the Edit (✏️) icon to update Nickname
3. Type in your new preferred nickname and click [Save]

Clubs
Home tab of Club Management Dashboard
Clubs are a complementary feature of CyLoans to help guilds, lenders and/or managers manage and whitelist their members or borrowers in batches. In future releases, we plan to integrate Clubs into CyBall Reborn game and evolve this feature to become CyBall’s in-game/in-app social network, a concept widely adopted in popular traditional games.
To access Clubs, head to Profile -> Clubs on https://app.cyball.com/.
Within Clubs dashboard, users will be able to find three different sections:

Club Manager: Only for the Club’s Owner (Manager). This is where the owner/manager of a Club can create, edit and manage their Club, Squad and Members.
- Home: Contains all basic information of the Club you are managing
- Squads: Contains the list of Squads within your Club
- Members: Contains the list of Members within your Club. By default, the Club’s Owner/Manager is the first member.

My Club: For both Club’s Owner and Members. This section displays basic information about your current Club. Members can also leave a Club from here.
Head to My Club to view your current Club
List: List of all Clubs that have been created. Users can request to join a club here and wait for approval from the Club’s Owner/Manager.

NOTE: This is a pre-release of Clubs which will only allow certain whitelisted guilds (those that are on the Guilds Leaderboard) to create and manage their Clubs. CyLoans integration for Clubs is also not enabled yet. Additionally, a Club’s Owner/Manager cannot leave, or remove themselves, or delete the Club. To edit an existing Club, use the “Home” tab under Club Manager. To create a new Club entirely, users must create a new wallet/account.
CyLoans V2
(Note: Please avoid using Wallet Connect during the CyLoans V1 -> V2 migration process if possible)
Guild owners, managers plus all other CyLoans lenders, it’s time to migrate your CyBlocs to CyLoans V2!

Overall CyLoans V2 will contain the same features as V1. The main difference is that V2 will support flash mentoring i.e. users can mentor using CyBlocs loaned out on CyLoansV2 without having to recall / withdraw them back into their wallets.
To migrate from V1 to V2:
1. Head to CyLoans tab on https://app.cyball.com
2. Put CyBlocs that you would like to migrate from V1 to V2 into “Recalling” status by delisting in “Listed”, or by canceling within “Leased” tab
Delist CyBlocs on V1 within “Listed” tab to put them into “Recalling”Cancel CyBlocs on V1 within “Leased” tab to put them into “Recalling”
3. Head to “Recalling” tab, select all CyBlocs on V1 that you would like to migrate to V2 and click “Migrate”.
Important:

There are 2 transactions that need to be confirmed at this step.
You must have enough BNB for gas fees. Migrating multiple CyBlocs require a lot of BNB to cover gas.

(3 if it is the first time you migrate as it will require a one-time only transaction to approve CyLoans V2 contract).

The first transaction is a withdrawal from V1.
The second transaction is a deposit into V2.
If you only confirm the first transaction, the CyBlocs will be withdrawn from V1 (into your wallet) without getting deposited back into V2 i.e. the first transaction is just like a normal “Finalize Recall”.

That’s it! Repeat the process until you have migrated all of your CyBlocs from CyLoans V1 to CyLoans V2.
Note:

CyBlocs that were in “Leased” tab prior to the migration will be going back to “Leased” tab post-migration.
CyBlocs that were in “Listed” tab prior to the migration will be listed back to “Listed” tab post-migration.
If the steps above are followed correctly, CyBlocs’ levels should not reset and the borrowers should experience no gameplay interruption at all. It is however still recommended that users should not play during the migration process.
Please avoid using Wallet Connect during the CyLoans V1 -> V2 migration process if possible, as Wallet Connect appears to only prompt one (instead of two) required transactions for the migration process.
If you must use Wallet Connect, ensure to:
- 1. Click “Migrate”, confirm the first transaction
- 2.1. If a second transaction gets prompted, also confirm it -> finish
- 2.2 If a second transaction does NOT get prompted, head to “Wallet” tab and list the CyBlocs you are trying to migrate up onto CyLoans V2 immediately. This re-listing step needs to be done within 5 minutes of the first transaction in order for them to be changed back to “Leased”. If the re-listing is done after 30 minutes have passed since the first transaction, then those CyBlocs will go onto “Listed” like normal.
TL;DR: If you only confirm 1 transaction out of the 2 required for migration, head to “wallet” tab and relist the relevant CyBlocs within 30 minutes.

Flash Mentoring
That’s right, Flash Mentoring will also go live together with CyLoans V2!
Once users have migrated CyBlocs over to V2, they can start mentoring CyBlocs that are being lent out immediately without having to recall/withdraw them back into their wallets.
The mentoring process is exactly the same as it was, with the addition of a new tab called “Leased” where all CyBlocs within CyLoans that can be used to mentor are shown. This includes CyBlocs that are in “Listed”, “Recalling” and “Leased” on CyLoans V2 altogether.
Note: Users will need to first approve their CyBlocs and CBT/BUSD spending for the new Flash Mentor before they can use flash mentoring. These approval transactions are one-time only and will be required the first time you mentor using CyBlocs that are on CyLoans V2.

Guild Leaderboard (Season 1)

We have put together a leaderboard for our Season 1 Guild League, which will be available at https://app.cyball.com/#/leaderboard?tabLeaderboard=guilds from 1 PM UTC today onwards.
As mentioned in the previous article, Season 1 Guild League started from April 11 onwards and is a simplified league in which guilds are ranked based on the performance of their loaned CyBlocs’ Win %. The leaderboard will also display the total holdings of CyBlocs per guild with detailed breakdown of CyBlocs based on their Class.

However, with growth comes the need to make adjustments to the game to keep our economy thriving.In this update, we aim to highlight the changes that will take course for the rest of Season 1.<h3>CyBall Reborn</h3>It’s been a busy two months but we’ve listened to all the fantastic feedback from the community and are in the midst of developing a remastered version, CyBall Reborn!Based on current progress, we are now estimating a mid May launch for CyBall Reborn. Users who have been actively mentoring and contributing back to the CyBall ecosystem will have a more aggressive unlock schedule whereas users who have not been as active, will have a much more conservative unlock schedule. More details will be released once we have finalized CYB launch plans.<h4>Flash Mentoring/CyLoans V2</h4>CyBall’s cornerstone feature and proprietary technology, CyLoans, has been revolutionary in assisting guilds and managers in streamlining the scholarship management process.During the Genesis Mentoring Phase, CyLoans V1 was live, users were obligated to recall their CyBlocs to enter them into the mentoring process (level resets and cooldown periods were turned off during Genesis Mentoring).Shortly from now, we would like to introduce what you have all been waiting for, CyLoans V2!In approximately 2 weeks, users will be able to migrate CyBlocs from CyLoans V1 to V2, which will then allow users to mentor their CyBlocs without removing or recalling them from the CyLoans market anymore.With CyLoans V2, mentoring new CyBlocs simply cannot become easier. However, once the governance token (CYB) and DAO are released, users will be able to decide on the level of NFT purchases, as well as rewards share / distribution to borrowers.The community pool will purchase all NFTs priced under X, a constant. X may change depending on the assets available within the community pool treasury, the NFT population and users numbers, as well as the cost of mentoring. The essence of this update is to emphasize Added Skills, that is skills assigned by the player, are more valuable than Base Skills.As CyBall Reborn gets closer, we will also be adding in and removing several Tactic Cards. General Overview

CyBall Reborn

This leaderboard will stay in place until the end of the month. The top 10 users on our win-loss-winrate leaderboard (monthly) will be eligible for CYB rewards. More details on this will be announced shortly once the leaderboard has been updated.
Matchmaking and other rebalances
In upcoming weeks, we will be making tweaks to the matchmaking algorithm.
Instead of matchmaking on total skills unweighted, we’ll be matchmaking on a new formula, which is Base Skills + y * Added Skills, where y > 1. The essence of this update is to emphasize Added Skills, that is skills assigned by the player, are more valuable than Base Skills.
As CyBall Reborn gets closer, we will also be adding in and removing several Tactic Cards. We do not aim to have any changes to Traits as it stands, however this might change in the future.

Future Updates
In the near future after the release of CyBall Reborn, we will be releasing the highly anticipated 5v5 gameplay modes. The 5v5 will be in the form of an exhibition match or in our League or Tournament modes of the game.
5v5 matches will be of a longer duration, which will include 10 key events that will occur instead of your usual 6 key events in 3v3 matches.
The League and Tournament modes will have users select a team of up to 7 players which includes 2 substitutes for the course of the Tournament or Season (League). The strategy to coordinate and optimise a team of 7 players who have a complementary traits and a good team dynamic to endure the length of the season or Tournament.
The introduction of the 5v5 gameplay will elevate the strategic prowess of players to the highest level of competitiveness; with more players key events and more tactic cards .

As observed above, User A only claimed what he/she requested for. The extra 50 $CBT will be included in the next batch (which can be requested at least 7 days later).
When and how can I request for my rewards?
Users can request to withdraw the accrued $CBT rewards shown in their account once every 7 days, starting NOW.
Any newly earned amount after a previous request will be accrued and included in the next request. As such, some users may opt to request earlier or later depending on when and/or how much they would like the accrued in-game rewards to be withdrawn/reset.
Instructions:
1. Head to the “Reward” tab from the CyBall Web App
2. Click “Request reward” and sign the message in your crypto wallet
3. Click “Refresh rewards list” to view a log of your requests. New requests will have an “In-Process” status (please allow a few seconds for the log status to be update)

When will my request be approved?
Starting from Tuesday at 1.00 PM UTC 08/03/2022.
In order to allow for users to get familiar with the Rewards claiming process, we will be reviewing and approving requests every day up until Tuesday 15/03/2022, at which point we will be reviewing and approving requests less frequently as the number of requests is also expected to be more scattered by then.
When and how can I claim my requested rewards?
Starting from Tuesday at 1.00 PM UTC 08/03/2022.
Instructions:
As soon as your request is approved and its status shows “Ready-Claim”:
1. Head to the “Reward” tab from the CyBall Web App
2. Click “Claim” under the “Action” column and confirm the transaction in your crypto wallet (requires enough BNB in wallet to cover gas costs, of approximately 0.0015 BNB per claim)
